Josephine Mogeni, FNP-C, is a highly compassionate and caring family nurse practitioner who loves and enjoys caring for her patients at TopCare Family & Wellness Clinic in Garland, Texas. She believes in holistic and evidence-based care.
Josie graduated with her undergraduate degree from Langston University in Oklahoma with her Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2006. She went on to graduate from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. with a Master of Science in nursing, specializing as a family nurse practitioner.
Josie is board-certified in Texas. She went on to work in an acute care hospital for over ten years as a registered nurse. Since obtaining her graduate studies in family practice medicine in 2015, Josie has treasured taking care of her patients as a family care practitioner in the family practice setting.
Josie believes in advocacy and collaboration; for that reason, she is a member of the American Nurses Association (ANA), the North Texas Nurses Association (NTNA), and the North Texas Nurse Practitioner (NTNP).
Josie is married and has two sons with her loving husband. She takes her faith seriously, believing it guides her character as a human being. In her leisure time, Josie enjoys having quality time with her husband and children, watching documentaries, researching, visiting friends, and traveling.
